SAY HELLO TO THE WORLD OF MEDICINE
The second field of medicine that The NPSi Med Club is delving into, obstetric medicine is the branch of medicine that deals with pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. Obstetricians are often also trained in gynaecology, which is the study of the health of the female reproductive system, and together, they are known as OB/GYN, which is a surgical specialty of its own! WHO WE ARE
We are a group of high school students, united by a common goal: To make a difference. We know it sounds cliché. But clichés only exist to reflect the truth that we see in our world. And one thing that we have always known, that the COVID-19 pandemic has reiterated, is that doctors make the world go round. Through this club, we hope to gain a launch pad for the medical careers that we dream of. To understand more about the science, history, and ethics of medicine. And we hope to rope a few of you in along the way!
